Here’s some pop for you from Welsh starlets-in-waiting Electrovamp. Cayte and I spent a very happy 48 hours with Kally and Tammy at the beginning of the month penning this brand new track which I finished producing a couple of weeks ago. We love it - let me know what YOU think of this extract.

Firstly, apologies for the radio silence. Slap me and call me a houseboat if it just hasn’t been a crazy fortnight. Firstly, I’ve moved studio, with the new place waiting to become the spiritual home for my various goings-on for, I hope, many months to come. Secondly, I’ve been ‘pop’-ping like crazy with 2 new tracks with Cayte to come very soon (watch this space), plus a new version of Information Overload, which has now been recorded by Welsh lovelies Electrovamp. I’ve also been writing with the phenomenally talented and lovely Matt Hales from Aqualung and, with him in mind, here’s a project we completed together last year, called Small Things. Matt wrote a poem and a piano piece and gave them to me to record and produce and this is the result. We like it and hope you do too. I promise I won’t be away again for so long…

Hey there you with a pop face, come up to my place and check this out… More pop for all of those dedicated to the radio friendly sound of a killer tune. This one again co-written with the lovely Cayte Webber, who is on tip-top vocal form from the off on this choon. What a busy week it has been - the studio’s moved (not without my prior consent, I hasten to add), I’ve bought a new LOVELY microphone, I’m working on new Swiss pop, I’ve been wrestling weird and wonderful noises from my computer and… I’m trying to make time through the next few months to get back on my album project, Iron Butterflies. Lordy, to where do the hours slip away…? If someone finds them lying around somewhere, could you send them back. Ta.
