Throughout August, I’ve been co-producing and mixing the new album for the legendary and lovely Calm Of Zero (formerly Echobelly). The songs are great and the album promises to be a corker. It’s high time you lucky people got to hear a bit I reckon, so here’s the first of a couple of teasers I’ll upload over the coming days. Wrap your ears around this stomper…

Might I just add that yours is the only reference to Echobelly I could find in recent months. If it wasn’t for your Twitter entry, I wouldn’t have known that they were up to anything, save for their recent (July) live performance at MoHo. So thank you for this.

It’s a very refreshing sound. Sonny O’Maddan sounds in fine fettle and Glenn has certainly got the melodies hooked.

Fantastic!! A new Echobelly album!!! Can’t wait. The only thing that would make this better would be an appearance at Glastonbury this summer. That would be the icing on the 40th birthday cake it really would!!!
