I was rummaging through my hard drives last week and came across this rather beautiful thing. John Service is a singer and song-writer who I’ve had the privilege to produce on a number of occasions and, for his birthday, I made him a string-arranged mix of his track ‘Stronger’, which we originally made as a fuller production for his eponymously titled EP. I thought it was high time the world heard it. So, come on world, lend us your ears…

Iron Butterflies: The Rest Will Follow

As promised, here’s a second track from the forthcoming ‘Iron Butterflies’ album. As with ‘Khaki Army Tank’, this track is a collaboration with Olivia Bradbury but this time we joined forces with my great friend, composer Matthew King, who wrote the harp, celeste and brass arrangements, the latter of which were then performed by Guildhall graduate Mike Ball. Olivia is once again on sparkling form, with a wonderful lyric and unique vocal performance. Enough from me… kick back, drink it in and let me know what you think.

Happy Easter! To help celebrate the passing of the first quarter of the year, here’s a huge pop slammer. Another from the Jono Buchanan/Cayte Webber production stable and this one’s a real stallion. Ever wondered what Shania Twain might sound like on acid? Wonder no more…
